Meet the Endodontists at ROOTS
Dr. Nestor Tzimpoulas is a recognized Specialist Member of the European Society of Endodontology (ESE) and a member of the American Association of Endodontists (AAE), with exclusive specialization in Endodontics and the Management of Dental Traumatic Injuries.
He graduated from the School of Dentistry of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) in 2009.
In 2013, he was admitted to the three-year postgraduate specialization program in Endodontics at the Academic Centre for Dentistry Amsterdam (ACTA), University of Amsterdam in the Netherlands, one of Europe's leading academic centers for Endodontics, which he successfully completed in 2016.
Dr. Anastasios Retsas graduated from the School of Dentistry of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 2012. Until 2015, he remained as a Clinical Instructor in the Preclinical Endodontics Laboratory at the School of Dentistry, while simultaneously practicing as a general dentist with a special interest in Endodontics. Later, between 2015 and 2018, he attended and successfully completed the three-year postgraduate specialization program in Endodontics at the Academic Centre for Dentistry Amsterdam (ACTA), University of Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
The Dentaltrauma.gr is an information platform aimed at both patients and dentists, with the goal of disseminating knowledge for the prevention and proper management of dental traumas in children and adults in Greece. The ultimate goal is to improve the level of care for patients after dental trauma.
The official application ToothSOS of the International Association of Dental Traumatology (IADT) provides information for both patients and professionals in case of tooth injury. For patients, the application offers easy-to-understand emergency steps for every type of dental trauma. Immediate care at the site of the accident will determine the prognosis of the tooth and your child's smile.
